Gail Whitaker, DM

Biography

Dr. Whitaker spent a significant amount of her professional career in higher education, where she successfully oversaw the development of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs, as well as many professional certificate programs and curricula. In addition, she was intricately involved in faculty management and external rankings. Dr. Whitaker has established herself as a highly sought-after higher education consultant in the areas of program curriculum development, program assessments, and accreditation. She has been directly involved in the successful accreditation of business, Information Technology, and doctoral programs. Her higher education experience spans the breadth of both online and ground campus institutions and includes previous positions as President, Pro-Chancellor, Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dean of the College of Business and Management and Doctoral Studies.

Dr. Gail Whitaker is the Workforce Transformation Manager at TISTA Tech. In this role, she oversees the learning and development efforts of the organization. She has previously held roles as the Founder and  Director of the Learning Continuum, Inc., Vice President for Strategic Leadership and Philanthropy for TWG, Inc., Managing Director of SEED School of Maryland, Chief Technology Officer for the National Council of La Raza, and Director of IT for National Board of Professional Teaching Standards, just to name a few.
