To apply for graduate admission, a person must:
- Complete the online application for admission. The application is valid for one academic year. If one year has elapsed since the submission, an updated application form is required.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree (or higher degree) from an accredited college or university with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 (or higher) on a 4-point scale. Students who do not meet the GPA requirement—or who graduated from an unaccredited institution—may qualify for Probationary Admission.
- Submit official academic transcripts from every college or university currently or previously Applicants must contact those institutions and request official transcripts be emailed to graduateadmissions@kenneruniversity.org. If institutions are unable to email the official academic transcripts, they can mail the transcripts in sealed envelopes and send them directly to the Admissions Office at

- Submit a well-written, two-page admission essay that includes the following:

- A brief self-introduction
- Reasons for pursuing the chosen graduate degree at Kenner University.
- Educational, professional, and personal experiences that have shaped the decision and prepared the applicant for graduate studies.
- Personal life and career goals and how master’s studies will help accomplish those goals.
- Any additional information the applicant may wish to provide to the Graduate Admission Committee as it considers the application.
- Submit any other information the applicant may wish to provide to the Graduate Admission Committee as evidence of the ability to complete graduate-level studies. This may include, but is not limited to:

- Samples of academic or professional research and writing ability, such as research papers, published articles, or work products
- Professional licensures, certifications, or training experiences
- Pertinent awards or achievements
