Application Procedures for Undergraduate Programs

ADMISSIONS APPLICATION PROCEDURES FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS

To apply for undergraduate admission, a person must:

    1. Complete the online application for admission. The application is valid for one academic year. If one year has elapsed since the submission, an updated application form is required.
    2. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, and have a high school diploma or GED.
    3. Submit official high school or GED transcripts from every high school (if applicable) attended. Applicants must contact those institutions and request official transcripts be mailed to undergraduateadmissions@kenneruniversity.org. If institutions are unable to email the official academic transcripts, they can mail the transcripts in sealed envelopes and send them directly to the Admissions Office at:

    1. Submit a well-written, one-page admission essay that includes the following:
      • A brief self-introduction
      • Reasons for pursuing the chosen undergraduate degree at Kenner University.
      • Professional and personal experiences that have shaped the decision and prepared the applicant for undergraduate studies.
      • Personal life and career goals and how undergraduate studies will help accomplish those goals.
      • Any additional information the applicant may wish to provide to the Undergraduate Admission Committee as it considers the application.
    1. Submit any other information the applicant may wish to provide to the Undergraduate Admission Committee as evidence of the ability to complete undergraduate studies. This may include, but is not limited to:
      • Professional licensures, certifications, or training
      • Pertinent awards or achievements
